Joann founded BrightFit Prep with a simple but powerful belief: that every student deserves personalized, honest guidance as they navigate the path to college.
Joann found her passion for the admissions world working for UCLA’s Undergraduate Admissions Office, and later, her research at Harvard focused on higher education, student success, and workforce development, deepening her commitment to helping young people unlock opportunities.
As a business owner and leader, Joann has built and scaled successful companies, giving her real-world insight into leadership, initiative, and impact, qualities she helps her students highlight in their applications.
Her commitment to accessibility is at the heart of BrightFit Prep. Through the BrightFit Scholars Program, we donate time to students from underserved backgrounds, ensuring that expert college advising is not limited by circumstance.
